Christine Graduated!

I will probably put more reflections on graduation on my personal blog (if I ever have time), but wanted to include a few family pics on the family blog to celebrate the day.

Philadelphia in 2013 & Updates

It is official! The Harding Hart family will be spending August 2013-August 2014 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania!

Christine will be doing a Judicial Clerkship for Theodore McKee, Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. It is an insanely good career opportunity and we're both excited about the prospect of a cross-country adventure.

Christine will be working across the street from the Liberty Bell & Independence Hall, and we'll have to see how Curtis will use his time.  We hope to live downtown so Christine can walk or take public transit to work, seeing as it will be our first (and lets be honest, likely only) cold winter.

In the meantime, we intend to stay in California, and Curtis is currently looking for new job opportunities in the area.

Christine graduates* from law school on Friday, May 13th, and will take the Bar at the end of July. Then she hopes to have a job that can start paying off her student debt :-).

*assuming she passes her finals, you never know :-)

Trip East, March 10-15

We had a great time on the East Coast! We arrived on Thursday night, spent Friday in town, did NYC on Saturday and Philadelphia on Sunday, rested on Monday, and flew back Tuesday!

At the meeting of the Delaware & Lehigh rivers. Where we were standing was flooded about 8 hours later.

At the crayola store - a giant crayon!

Las Vegas - December 2010

We spent a night at the Venetian and saw Blue Man Group before we headed off to Utah for a few days. Our room was surprisingly awesome, so much so that we had to take pictures!

We had brunch at the Wynn Buffet, it was delicious!!!!

Christmas 2010

Hi: This is an attempt to Blog recent events - enjoy! - Christine

As this was Christine's last Christmas that had her studying up until the week before, it was hopefully the last one that was low key. But, we decorated the tree* at Christine's Parents house, with Kenny and Grandpa Harding!

Christmas Morning - We were waiting for them to get up!
We had a very pleasant and sunny Christmas Day - Christine's Uncle Tony and Aunt Kim from Pennsylvania were in town, we had a wonderful breakfast, spent the morning at Curtis' parents, and then had everyone at the Hardings for Christmas Dinner. We hung out with all the Hardings the day after Christmas too, which was fun :-).

* Christine's parents bought an artificial tree this year. As environmentally conscious as Christine likes to be, she was sad :-(.

Lots of Snow in Provo, Utah!

We are currently in Provo until Friday morning. It's been wonderful to relax, play with our little nephews, and hangout w/ our brother and sis-in-law.

Being the Californians that we are, watching it snow all day from Alex and Jo's house was super exciting. Curtis helped shovel snow (see Christine's facebook profile). We even took a nice long brief walk around the neighborhood while it was snowing. We must have looked so obviously from out-of-town, especially because it was so wet on the ground.

Curtis is glad that Christine brought a scarf for him ;-)
Anyway, we are here another day, until we head back to Cali, and then Christine heads to Florida (talk about temperature extremes!). Having a great time!
